Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport is set to remain closed until October 17, 2026, following an extension of the suspension of operations announced by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) on October 12.تقرر تمديد تعليق العمليات في مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض حتى 17 أكتوبر 2026، وفقًا للتقارير المنشورة يوم 12 أكتوبر، وذلك بعد إعلان الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني السعودية تمديد فترة التعليق لاستكمال الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان سلامة المطار.
According to the authority, the extension will allow officials to complete the necessary inspections to verify the safety of airport facilities and confirm their operational readiness in coordination with the relevant authorities.وأوضحت الهيئة أن القرار يهدف إلى إتمام الفحوصات المطلوبة للتحقق من سلامة مرافق المطار والتأكد من جاهزيتها التشغيلية، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية.
